Aries is a movable sign, so its Badhaka (obstruction) house is the 11th, whose sign is Aquarius and whose lord is Saturn. Mercury is not the Badhaka lord. The Maraka lords for Aries rising are Venus (2nd) and Venus (7th); Mercury is not one of them.
