Rahu & Ketu — Why They Act as Three Planets in KCIL

In Khullar's system, Rahu and Ketu simultaneously represent themselves, their Sign Lord, and their Star Lord. This triples their influence.

Why Rahu and Ketu Are Special

Rahu and Ketu are intersection points — they have no mass, no Sign lordship, and no independent personality. They absorb and amplify the energy of whatever planets co-rule their position. This is why KCIL treats them not as one planet but as three simultaneously.

The Three-Planet Entity Rule

When you have Rahu at Cancer 7° (Pushya Star Zone, Saturn star), Rahu acts as:

RolePlanet It RepresentsEffect
Rahu itselfRahuUnconventional, foreign, mass events
Sign Lord of CancerMoonAll Moon life area connections added
Star Lord of PushyaSaturnAll Saturn life area connections added

Any planet in Rahu's Star therefore simultaneously occupies the stars of Rahu, Moon, and Saturn — a threefold life area connection. This is more powerful than any of those planets individually.

The Rahu-in-Ketu / Ketu-in-Rahu Chain

When Rahu is in Ketu's Star AND Ketu is in Rahu's Star (mutual occupation), a complex chain forms. Work through: Rahu-as-Rahu → Rahu-as-Sign-Lord → Rahu-as-Star-Lord (which is Ketu) → Ketu's representations. This creates one of the most powerful and often confusing combinations in KCIL — but once mastered, it reveals hidden patterns in timing.

Practical Tip

When Rahu or Ketu is the Dasha lord, check which three planets they represent at birth. In their Dasha, they can simultaneously deliver the results of all three entities — often causing complex, multi-layered life events that seem contradictory but make perfect sense through KCIL.

Are Rahu/Ketu Stronger Than Planets?

Khullar explicitly states: "Rahu and Ketu are considered more powerful than the planets they represent." Their periods can trigger the results of represented planets more forcefully and suddenly than the planets' own periods. This is why Rahu Dasha (18 years) is often the most eventful period in a person's life.
