Astromathi AI was built on a single belief: that the most precise form of Vedic astrology — KP Nadi — should be free and accessible to everyone, not locked behind expensive apps or paywalls.

We use Swiss Ephemeris — the same engine used by professional Jyotish software — for all planetary calculations. Every prediction is grounded in precise astronomical data, not approximations.

Astromathi is built by Vinod Patgar, an astrology researcher and software engineer based in Bengaluru, India. It is a labour of love — built over years of studying KP Nadi, KCIL (Khullar Cuspal Interlink), and traditional Vedic systems.

Astromathi AI ("we", "our", "us") is operated by Vinod Patgar, Bengaluru, India. This policy explains, plainly and completely, what happens to your data when you use astromathi.com. We have written it to describe what our systems actually do — not what sounds reassuring.

Your date, time and place of birth are entered in your browser, and your chart is calculated on your device using the Swiss Ephemeris. Simply casting a chart does not send your birth details anywhere.

Important exception: if you use the AI Jyotish consultation, or purchase one of our report packages (Marriage, Vastu, Career, Wellness, Family, Muhurat), your chart details (planetary positions, dasha periods and similar derived data) are sent to our server and to our AI provider in order to generate the reading or report. There is no way to produce a personalised result without this. Your birth place is also looked up via OpenStreetMap to find its coordinates.

If you create an account and choose to sync your chart: your birth details (name, date, time and place of birth) are stored securely on our server, tied to your account, so your chart follows you across devices without re-entering it. This is optional — if you never create an account, your birth details are never stored on our server at all, only in your own browser.

This is the part of the policy we care about most, so we will be precise.

Free consultations are not stored at all. When the session ends, nothing of it remains on our servers.

Paid consultations are saved only for you. They are encrypted before being stored, and can only be opened with a unique passcode that we send to your registered email. That passcode belongs to you and to no one else. Without it, the reading cannot be opened — not by an outsider, and not by us. In our own database it is unreadable.

We never put your conversation in an email. The email we send you contains only a link and your passcode — never the reading itself. So even if someone were to see that email, they would not see what you asked or what you were told.

Saved readings are automatically deleted after 90 days. You may ask us to delete yours sooner at any time.

If you speak with AI Jyotish more than once, a brief private summary of the general substance of your two most recent conversations — never the full transcript — is kept so the astrologer can greet you with real continuity next time, rather than as a stranger each visit. This summary is written specifically to leave out chart mechanics and jargon; it is about the shape of what mattered to you, not a record of exact wording. It is used only to inform how the next conversation opens, never shown to you as text, and never shared anywhere else except, occasionally and briefly, in a personal chart alert email if you have opted into those and have genuinely spoken with AI Jyotish before.

To produce your reading, your question and chart details are sent to Anthropic (the Claude API) — there is no way to give a personalised answer otherwise. Under Anthropic's API terms, this is not used to train their models. Your conversation is never sold, never shared with advertisers, and never used for marketing.

To pay for a consultation you create an account with your email address, verified by a one-time code. We store your email, your wallet balance, a record of your top-ups and charges, and — if you choose to sync your chart — the birth details of up to 5 saved profiles.

Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details — only Razorpay's payment reference for the transaction.

We use Brevo to send login codes, links to your saved readings, and (if you subscribe) our newsletter. Brevo therefore holds your email address. Because we never place your consultation in an email, Brevo does not receive the contents of your reading. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email.

If you opt into personal chart alerts: we also store your chart's name, its astrological signature (Rasi/Lagna/Star), the real dates of upcoming chart events (dasha changes, transits), and computed life-area scores — used only to personalise those emails. Your exact date, time, and place of birth are never sent for this.

For each consultation we record: how long it lasted, how many messages were exchanged, which astrologer was chosen, the amount charged, and an approximate city and country (provided by Cloudflare's network). This tells us how the service is being used.

We do not store your IP address, and we do not record the content of your chat in these analytics. We also use Google Ads conversion tracking, which records that a purchase occurred and its value — not who you are or what you asked.

We use Google Analytics for anonymous usage statistics and Google AdSense for advertising. AdSense may serve personalised ads; you can opt out at adssettings.google.com. We do not sell your data to anyone.

Only the providers needed to run the service: Cloudflare (hosting and database), Anthropic (AI readings), Razorpay (payments), Brevo (email), Google (analytics and ads), and OpenStreetMap (birth-place lookup). We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data.

Saved consultations are deleted after 90 days. Charts held only in your browser can be removed by clearing your browser data. Charts synced to your account are deleted along with your account, or sooner on request.

You may ask us to delete your account, your saved readings, and your email at any time by contacting us — we will do so within 30 days. Note that we cannot recall emails already delivered to your inbox, and we must retain payment records where the law requires it.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you. Contact us via the Contact page and we will respond within 7 days.

Astromathi is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

We believe in being clear about money. This page sets out how charging works, and what happens in the rare event that something goes wrong.

Every AI Jyotish consultation begins with 60 seconds free. You are not charged anything during that time, and you may leave at any point without paying. We encourage you to use it to decide whether the service is right for you.

After the free minute, you are charged per minute at the rate shown for the astrologer you chose, deducted from your wallet balance. The rate and your remaining balance are visible on screen throughout. Charging stops the moment you end the session.

Amounts added to your wallet are held as credit towards consultations and are not refundable or withdrawable as cash. We'd gently suggest adding only what you plan to use.

Your balance never expires. It remains in your wallet and may be used at any time, with any of our astrologers. The first 60 seconds are free, so you can experience a consultation before adding anything at all.

Once a consultation has taken place, the service has been provided, and those minutes are not refundable — as would be the case with any astrologer's time. Jyotish is a tradition of guidance and interpretation rather than certainty, and the free minute is offered so that you may judge whether it speaks to you before you spend anything.

Our written report packages are purchased once, and the report is prepared and unlocked for you immediately on completing payment. Because the report is generated from your own birth details and delivered to you straight away, a purchased report is not refundable once it has been unlocked.

A free sample report is available on every package page, so you can see the depth, style and format of what you will receive before you decide. We would encourage you to read it first — it is the surest way to know whether the report is right for you.

If something about a payment or a session doesn’t seem right to you, please do write to us and we will look into it.

Write to us from the Contact page with the date of the session or report order and, if you have it, the payment reference from your receipt. We reply within 48 hours and, where a refund is due, process it within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.

There is no subscription and nothing recurring to cancel. Consultations are paid by the minute, and report packages are bought one at a time. You may stop using the service, and request deletion of your account, at any time.

Our readings are offered in the spirit of reflection and guidance. They are not predictions of certainty, nor are they medical, legal or financial advice. We share this openly, so that you know what to expect from us.

Astromathi provides astrological readings using a genuine KP / Nadi calculation engine, with the interpretation delivered by an artificial intelligence. The astrological method is authentic; the voice answering you is not a human astrologer. We state this plainly rather than imply otherwise.

If you use AI Jyotish more than once, it may recall the general substance of your two most recent conversations to greet you naturally and continue with genuine continuity, the way a real astrologer who has met you before would — never verbatim, and never in a way that feels like a script. Nothing on Astromathi is medical, legal, financial, psychological or investment advice, and it must never be treated as a substitute for a qualified professional. If you are unwell, in distress, or facing a serious decision, please consult someone properly qualified. Any decision you take remains entirely your own, and you accept responsibility for it.

You must be 18 or older to use paid services. By paying, you confirm that you are.

Paid consultations require an account verified by a one-time code sent to your email. Keep access to that email secure — anyone who can read it can access your account and your saved readings. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Consultations are charged by the minute after a free first minute, from wallet credit you add in advance. Report packages are a single one-time purchase and are unlocked immediately.

Payment is handled by Razorpay. Prices are shown in Indian Rupees. Our Refund Policy forms part of these terms, and you should read it before paying.

Please do not: use the service to harass, abuse or deceive anyone; attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to our systems; resell or redistribute our readings or reports as your own; or use the service for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or close an account that does so.

We aim to keep Astromathi available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Services may change or be withdrawn.

The site, its content, reports and software remain our property. Your reading is yours to keep and use personally; it is not licensed for commercial redistribution.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from your use of Astromathi is limited to the amount you have paid us in the preceding three months. We are not liable for decisions taken in reliance on a reading. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

We may update these terms. The date above shows the current version, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of it.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have jurisdiction.

If you ask about timing, it will give you the periods the chart indicates. Otherwise it explains influences without volunteering dates. Astrology indicates tendencies and periods — not certainties.
